| DESIGN NAME: Avandad Apartment PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: The axis of our ideas in designing of this project were as follows: Stones veil: To enhance more effects of rocks, we tried to not use the rocks explicitly, and show them through clear skins. Use the fragility feature of stones: In the general outline of white skins, which are considered as external shells and as veils, and that we tried to get a positive design and fragile appearance, seemed that Igneous rocks inside that skins were trying to destroy the skin and free themselves. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: What was important for the employer was the use of luxuries in modern form and the definition that may be broadly defined in today's world, but with regard to the regional conditions of the project and the general uniformity of existing designs in Iran, we tried to in addition to provoking the audiences’ attention facing with this space with the intelligent use of mentioned stones, could use a specific pattern to integrate a whole set of designs of this apartment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main purpose of this design was to face the audience with the contrast between the sense of tranquility and inner self-realization simultaneously. In such a way, that we tried with the clever use of white crust and its defects against igneous stones, we tried to change confront into counterbalance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located in the area of Elahieh, in Tehran, and the design of the project began in the spring of 2017 and it is expected to be exploited by the summer of 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stone Wood, Crema Delicato Stone, Bronze Amani Stone, Azul Macaubas Stone, Onice fantastic, Sequoia Brown Stone, Magma Gold Stone, Irish Green Stone, Stainless Steel, Knauf tile, Stainless steel SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: Italian expensive stones, Veil, Modern design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: What has become a concern for the beneficiaries about the residential units is their lack of awareness and satisfaction from the spaces they use. The demands of the new generation regarding the ultra-structured look and the growing need to satisfy their volunteerism, we decided to implement a design with a different, yet similar, component. CHALLENGE: The main challenge of this project was to create a balance between the sense of tranquility and the inner self-realization resulting from the use of base white color beside the mold with the warmth of the used stones.
