| DESIGN NAME: FENG PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sun Awning INSPIRATION: Lean design, modern architectural needs, environmental sustainability, innovation of production process are the main reasons of our new product Feng. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FENG, rounded lines for unrivalled design. With its rounded shape, this awning perfectly suits any architectural context. Fitted to shade big surfaces, it can be equipped with LED lighting systems: all of this makes Feng the latest design object in the sun awning world. Something never seen before. No visible screws, maximum width up to 14 metres with 3,65 projection, CE marking, patented design and a 5-year guarantee as Shadelab quality certification. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Feng is a retractable awning with full cassette, part of our cassette program that we call Helmet. They are elegant and functional. Elegant because their fine design enables them to harmonise with every architectural context, be it classical or contemporary; functional because the total closing of the cassette enables the total protection of the fabric from the atmospheric agents. This means a longer duration of the fabric cover time as well as less need of maintenance. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Feng is made of 3 different type of extruded aluminum alloy and high quality plastic compound, 100% recycable. Screws are all in stainless steel and totaly hidden. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Maximum size single module: width 700 cm x 365 cm projection Maximum size multiple module: width 1400 cm x 365 cm projection TAGS: Lean design. No visible screws. Full cassette. Domotic ready. Tested by TUV. 5 years guarantee. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Shadelab is designing every single product in order to satisfy multiple needs: needs of private users (design, modernity, environmental sustainability, functionality), needs of dealers (easy to install, easy to adjuste-regulate-set CHALLENGE: Mario Mazzer Studio designed the shape and, as usual, the main challenge of Shadelab was fitting the design needs with the technical obstacles, preserving the first Mazzer's feeling.
