| DESIGN NAME: Mozaik System PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modulable lamp INSPIRATION: Designed by Davide Oppizzi, his inspiration comes from the concept of mosaics and its geometric shapes. It was also about creating a luminous surface, falling like a rain of meteorites, cutting the space and not just bringing a luminous point. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mozaik is an architectural and modulable collection designed to structure the space: at the same time lamp and space separator according to the chosen version. In compliance with the DNA of Designheure (Editor and producer ), this collection resumes the infinite possibilities of finishes that offer fabrics and textile cord to order it in a graphic and customizable lighting panel, sculpturing the space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Mozaik is an architectural and modulable collection designed to structure the space: at the same time lamp and space separator according to the chosen version. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2016 in Geneva and finished in February 2017 in Setes (fr), and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in April 2017 FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Lighting Products and Fixtures Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: infinite possibilities of finishes that offer fabrics and textile cord to order it in a graphic and customizable lighting panel, sculpturing the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: a module 50cm high and 40cm wide can multiply to infinity and create partition walls or chandeliers TAGS: Mozaik, designheure, space separator, light system, light module, davideoppizzi, dcube RESEARCH ABSTRACT: No current modular separation system offers light. Mozaik, thanks to its dual function allows this fusion between the lumiere and the space separator. It can be removed simply by removing the horizontal tubes and remains compact when shipped. Designed for specific projects such as the hotel where it fits perfectly to separate a lounge area and a restaurant area CHALLENGE: Our vision was to provide a flexible light decorative product to infinity, using the DNA of the brand designheure, which produces lighting with fabrics and color cables.
