| DESIGN NAME: Hana Giku PRIMARY FUNCTION: Japanese Restaurant INSPIRATION: The lively interior design brings hilarious dining environment to the restaurant. Chrysanthemum is the favorite flower of Japanese, and it is a symbol that represents longevity and rejuvenation. Japanese enjoys flower viewing during the blossom season, and seeing this activity as social gathering with family, friends and colleagues. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new Japanese fine dining restaurant with strong traditional style and brings Japanese flower viewing culture to it. Hilarious and lively design creates as elegant place for fine dining experience with family and friends. Ceiling and wall demonstrate the Japan architecture’s beauty and sophistication. Design concept Dancing Chrysanthemum is presented by the dedicated design to show hilarious and happiness atmosphere. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Main cooking area is at the centre of the restaurant is also a stage for chef to perform in front of customers, who gathering together like viewing flower blossom. Ceiling above this area is built in a traditional way to express the beauty of Japan architecture and the dancing flowers embraces the design concept. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Main cooking area is at the centre of the restaurant is also a stage for chef to perform in front of customers. Ceiling above this area is built in a traditional way to express the beauty of Japan architecture and the dancing flowers embraces the design concept. Huge air circulation takes place in two ways, upper and lower, to ensure the air-conditioning and air quality are good. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The area of restaurant is 2130 sq ft TAGS: Japanese, flowers, restaurant, traditional,Chrysant RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Type of Research. Journal study. Research Objectives is to familiar with the flower viewing activities in Japanese culture. Result and Insight. Blossom is a sign of happiness and flower viewing is important for family and friends gathering. A lively interior design brings hilarious dining environment to the restaurant. CHALLENGE: Different scenarios can be catered to have 3 VIP rooms which bounded by losing walls so that the setting is flexible to cater the need. Chrysanthemum spreads nice smell, thus the restaurant cannot be ruined by the mixture of scent and smoke created by Teppanyaki stove. Moreover, the hilarious atmosphere includes the exchange between customer and chef, which addressed by the same level of stove and dining table.
