| DESIGN NAME: Boundary of Transparency PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design, office INSPIRATION: Located at Gangshan Township in Kaoshiung City, the company manufacturing the traditional hardware materials, e.g. fasteners, nails and wire rods, is surprisingly exhibiting the invigorating, bright and energetic working environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The authenticity of black and white is contrasting vividly with the vigorous art painting. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lightings, composed of the natural and designed illuminations, are intriguing. Furthermore, the large floor-to-ceiling windows furnished between the indoor and outdoor sprinkle sunlight in the building, while broadening the visual scale in the meantime. The outdoor greenery environment, likewise, is sprinkling in the office as well. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in July 2010 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The entire indoor space, incorporating the lobby, office and meeting rooms, is ornamented with the white walls and ceiling, the black brick floors and doors, the dark-wood wall cabinets, the red chairs and the modern art painting. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 280 square meters. TAGS: Interior Space, Exhibition Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: What should be the adapted style for the company office, from the traditional industry, under the aesthetic standards in modern society? CHALLENGE: The delicate skills decorating the ceilings, counters and tables with the folded plates are enchanting, of which the elements of contrast including tangible vs. intangible, black vs. white, and flat and folded plates are now provoking the extinguishing possibilities in the same working space.
