| DESIGN NAME: Square and Circle PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: Artistically resembling the design style of the Japanese designer Yayoi Kusama, the circular shapes in different sizes on the building façade strengthen the space energy, which specifically targets on the first-purchasing business. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the building, the big walls adorned with distinctive red dots are eye-catching. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: At the front door, the rectangular counter ornamented with grilles and mirror skillfully extend the entire space visually. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The indoor space consistently disseminates the elegant and graceful atmosphere, of which the lobby, information counter, public reception and meeting room decorated with grey mirrors, grilles, and black and white enlarge the visual scale, intensify delicate quality, and advertise the brand image for the real-estate developer. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 196 square meters. TAGS: Interior Space and Exhibition Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Situated on the street corner, the stylish building, for residential property sales, demonstrates intriguing characteristics of the indoor space by employing the geometrical and color skills encompassing the square and circle, and the black and white. CHALLENGE: The large front door and windows, on the building with white-cubical exterior appearance, skillfully broadcast sunlight in the house.
