| DESIGN NAME: Gather PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tableware INSPIRATION: In the vast majority of restaurants and hotpot restaurants, tableware are very ordinary, giving people a cold feeling, and do not echo with the entire space. So we want to design a type of tableware that has an artistic flavor, as well as fun and content, so that it can become the focus of the dining table and space and people can feel the culture and concept of the restaurant when they use the cutlery. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cutlery in ordinary hot pot restaurant makes people feel cold and boring and looks cheap. This design is inspired by the architectural style of the the Imperial Palace. People can find architectural elements in the tableware. Before dinner, tableware will be combined into a state of building placed on the table, as a work of art interweaving with spatial environment. While dining, people will divide it into bowls and plates, to increase the sense of experience and fun. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The tableware in front of the meal will be combined into the shape of the building. When people eat food, you can dismantle it, take out the bowl and plate, and so on. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Ceramic SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: W200mm x D250 mm x 300 mm TAGS: tableware RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I hope this design through the natural and simple way to bring people of different feelings, more and more people love life aesthetics, this traditional tableware products generally mean in a family, space cleaning, placed clutter and other phenomena, based on these, we hope to use the concept of aesthetics to cover these bad phenomenon, let people put on love rather than hate tableware. This way will also provide some new ideas for traditional tableware manufacturers. NAME: JINGDEZHEN CERAMIC INISTITUTE;JIANGXI MODERN POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE PROFILE: This product is jointly designed by Jingdezhen Ceramic University and Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College. The customers are a well-known traditional chafing dish store in Beijing, China. They hope to integrate the traditional culture of Beijing into the chafing dishes. So we use the architectural features of Beijing to integrate into the design, so that the diners can feel the local culture and characteristics. |
