PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fine Dining Restaurant
INSPIRATION: The ‘Rivers bubble’ to create experience different layers and colors inspire from Yangtze River. Ancient City of Jingzhou lays in the south of the centre of Hubei Province and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an ancient cultural city with a long history of more than two thousand years. The river is the longest in the world to flow entirely within one country. The city had been established as the capital by 11 emperors in all, making it the political centre in China for more than 100 years. Reflecting the changing perspectives that appear in such masterpieces, the interior of the fine dining seafood restaurant offers a multi-perspective experience. To achieve the look they had in mind, make from emperors capital to Yangtze River’s culture is the surprising focal point of YKC IV experience in Jingzhou, China.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Dining experience combines bubbles element which harmonize with display elements in bronze, marble, with three dimensional of wooden veneer. Bubbles to create beyond expect of ceiling lamps from public dining area; bronze bubbles were created to the wall and crystal ball of partition extension by the bubble lamps.
‘Rivers’ was floating to the hallway, translucent stone to become bottom of river contrasting mirror ceiling and lamps abstract into bubbles in river.
Black tone private room to create bubbles on the high-gloss white wall. The focus wall become to the bronze-line concentric circle. Pairing Marble, wall lamp and crystal lamp was contrasting by the focus wall.
Bronze tone private room to create an emperor’s style. The focus wall also become to the bronze-line concentric circle by the white backdrop. Over-scale of crystal lamp and bronze wall lighting pattern to present for the emperor style.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Yangtze Rive like a picture of concentric circles. The restaurant design was created the circle and bubbles. The ‘Rivers bubble’ to create experience different layers and colors inspire from Yangtze River. Ancient City of Jingzhou lays in the south of the centre of Hubei Province and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an ancient cultural city with a long history of more than two thousand years.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Using the bubbles glass for lamp and panel of the dining area, to create Yangtze Rive. Stainless steel were create concentric circles not only the dining room, VIP also inspire by the river bubbles. 3D print technology was used on the write panel, and the stainless steel were create the light box panel for the VIP area.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Researching the Jingzhou's history, we were going to Jingzhou to find what we want. Find and interview some old-man, library, temple, Yangtze River to study the Jingzhou. We were inspired by Yangtze River, because the river like a picture of concentric circles. We were starting the concentric circles to create the design elements.
CHALLENGE: The challenge of design were how to find the Jingzhou's history. Because Ancient City of Jingzhou lays in the south of the centre of Hubei Province and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an ancient cultural city with a long history of more than two thousand years. We should history support for the design element like Rivers bubble inspire from Yangtze River.
