PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design
INSPIRATION: As a restaurant serving Chinese herbal cuisine, Fuhuigen displays the brand by incorporating the spiritual elements of orient.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Coordinated with the modern elegant structure, the Chinese-style restaurant furnished with the uneven wooden flats artistically creates majestic atmosphere spiraling upward through the roof. Mimicking the traditional Chinese lanterns, the decorations considering the red cage-style suspended lights put a final touch on showing traditional Chinese cultures.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Taking into consideration the restaurant size, the designer skillfully makes the counter as an easy access. Adjoin the window, the double seats properly fit the store from the perspectives of aesthetics and brand image.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in November 2016 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The wood colors, based mainly on light yellow, circulate the amicable characteristics. The fashioned grey-matte floor tiles disperse Chinese elegance, of which the visual aesthetics and functional durability are perfectly merged.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 180 square meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The space is clean and elegant, and artistically presents the charms of Chinese tradition.
CHALLENGE: The spiritual Chinese elements are discernible from the decoration methods. Firstly, alongside the entrance, the L-style reception counter ornamented with the Chinese painting transmits civilized culture. Secondly, the Chinese-style lattice sliding doors figuratively present the symmetrical flower patterns, which disseminate the traditional Chinese culture blessing best wishes. Finally, the seats are clean and coupled, which suggest the upright junzi savoring cuisines.
