We grope for new Japanese dance, and this is a design of the stage art which aimed at the ideal form of Contemporary Japanese dance. Unlike traditional Japanese dance two-dimensional stage art, three-dimensional design that takes advantage of the entire stage space. A myriad of objects floating in the air surrounds the performer and reveals the light being irradiated on the space. The object draws a gradation in response to the movement of the performer and expresses the flow of time.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
We let Japanese dance break with positioning called the succession of simple traditional arts. We drew out new charm of a Japanese dance by utilizing digital technology for the design of the hard part as stage space. The shape related to a movement of the dancer is chosen as digital technology which isn't visible, and, first realization, possible, it was.

CHALLENGE:
The point group which is design technique by a three-dimensional modeling and floats in the air was arranged freely like a petal dancing in the air. The space where light and darkness were produced strikingly makes the atmosphere of Japanese Dance develop in response to Dancer. We, there analyzes the movements of the dancers, the placement of the point group were adjusted by modeling data the shape of a line connecting them. Its shape is close to along the dancer movement, and, so as not to interfere with the dancer movement, could be designed.
