INSPIRATION:
Inspired from the historical literatures and bamboo forest, the designer manifests the graceful and elegant spirit from ancient China by using the diverse modern construction material and design skills. Furthermore, the fustic woods, and Chinese-style bamboo curtains and lanterns present the classical literatures artistically in the space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
It is a renowned restaurant located at China that the designer applies the classical oriental style to the construction plan which offers customers artistic environment as if participating joyful time traveling back to Chinese dynasties.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This is a restaurant with oriental style.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project finished in May 2017 in China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The walls surface written with calligraphy reminds people of the old time memories of Chinese culture.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The culture-stone walls and rough rocks harmoniously connect people and surrounding environment, and artistically display the spirit of ink painting. The landscape of pool and traditional urn present the appreciation about lives and manifest the fortune and prayer.
CHALLENGE:
The both sides on the top of reception counter is decorated into different styles of which one adorned with cherry blossoms and the other embellished with timber piles.
