| DESIGN NAME: Ekin Spotter PRIMARY FUNCTION: Surveillance and Enforcement System INSPIRATION: Ekin, the leader in safe city technologies has been developing the high-end safe traffic and city products since 1998. Ekin Spotter is the first and only totally modular city furniture system, which is capable of number plate recognition, speed and red light enforcement, face recognition and video surveillance. All the technology keeps a city at the maximum safety level can be a part of Ekin Spotter. It has a modular design, which provides users to choose the solution for their exact needs. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Besides being one and only totally modular city furniture system, Ekin Spotter has the slimmest design of its kind, providing the elegant solution for the city architecture. While ensuring the highest level of traffic and city security, Ekin Spotter can be used as a smart solution such as city lighting indoor or outdoor areas like airports or shopping malls. It also helps to reduce traffic accidents and prevent mortal accidents. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Ekin Spotter recognizes every number plate and speed of the vehicles in its field of view and detects red light and parking violations immediately. It inquires all the recognized number plates over the database and generates visual or audio alarms when necessary. Ekin Spotter detects speed, red light and parking violations proving a violation video and photo, and helps the officers to take the appropriate actions in time. All the faces are recognized in its field of view while all the surroundings are recorded by its surveillance feature. In case of any accidents, evidence videos can be provided in high resolution. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: All research & development, production and design processes were operated Ekin's headquarter in Istanbul, Turkey. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Ekin Spotter It uses super high resolution cameras and powerful processors and captures every action in its field of view. It can be used as both safe city solution and smart city enabler with its slimmest design of its kind, providing the elegant solution for the city architecture. Besides ensuring the highest level of traffic and city security, Ekin Spotter can be used as a city lighting indoor or outdoor areas in accordance with the users’ needs. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Ekin Spotter has totally modular design, allowing users to choose features and make their product in order to their exact needs. Modules are plug&play, so there is no need of any infrastructural changes and costs. Ekin Spotter is the slimmest and thinnest product of its kind, has only 230 mm radius. Its hight can be changed between 3000mm - 4500 mm according to selected features.
