| DESIGN NAME: Forte Cafe PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the space is from the books. In order to encourage customers to come the cafe, relaxed and cozy atmosphere were proposed. People would feel free to come here for reading or have a cup of coffee. At the same time, they would realize more about the properity and Forte throught their stay. Hope more people could buy Forte's apartment if customers think that fit their requirements. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The cafe is located in Wuhu, China. The aims of the project is design an interiors that can help developer to sell apartments. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The purpose of this cafe is helping developer to sell the apartment, designer needs to design an interiors to filfull the marketing requirement. Besides, traffic flow is important to guide customers to go throught all different functional areas. Reception is well located at the entrance, it helps to guide customers around the sales center. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2017 and finished in Jane 2017 in Wuhu, China. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stone, black stainless steel, timber, acid-etched glass, leather are the main materials applied. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 630 square meter TAGS: Cafe, Sales office, books, bookstore, Forte, HotKoncepts, MartinChow, Yuyao, China RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As it is a Forte Cafe, therefore the designer needed to realize the local market and type of customers in Wuhu, China. Of course the designer was required to work closely with the marketing team of the client, so that we came up some optional interior styles for the client's approval. Finally, book store feel were selected in order to create a cozy and relaxed environment for customers. CHALLENGE: Layout is important in this project because we needed a clear layout to guide customers from the entrance to the brand's displays, site model and area map etc, finally to the seating area. Besides, we need to think carefully about the ceiling design. As the area is big and the ceiling height under the beam and service ducts is only about 3.8m, so we have partly aluminum panels in contrast with the gypsum board ceiling.
