| DESIGN NAME: Tab4 Home Assistant Pack PRIMARY FUNCTION: Computer INSPIRATION: The world’s first home assistant with detachable screen and a full function stand alone tablet when home assistant is not in use. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: TAB4 home assistant pack with detachable screen provides a smart option to let users not only enjoy their Lenovo TAB4 series tablet, but also a powerful speaker with Amazon Alexa voice command center. With the speaker tower on the side of tablet the home assistant app automatically opens and can not only do all Alexa tricks but also shows more information on the screen. When voice command is not needed, release the tablet from speaker docking and enjoy the svelte and light TAB4 tablet. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: First, plug the power adapter into the device and then into a power outlet before using your device. Second, press and hold the power button to turn on your tablet. Next step is attach your tablet to the speaker tower and ask “Alexa” to get your device’s attention. When voice command is not needed, just release the tablet from speaker docking and enjoy the svelte and light TAB4 tablet. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2016 in China and finished in August 2017 in China, and was exhibited in IFA Berlin in September 2017. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The home assistant speaker docking is made by an aluminum sandblasting base with anodizing finishing assembled with an injecting plastic body. The final finishing of main body is UV skin feel painting covered by a well-bonded domestic fabric for acoustic requirement.
