| DESIGN NAME: Sensation in Luxury PRIMARY FUNCTION: Duplex show flat INSPIRATION: The design of the show flat is inspired by the mountain scenery of the Macau One Oasis. It was designed for the young family. The design would like to express a warm and energetic atmosphere where emphasizing the connection between the family, also, to create a natural and green environment that people will feel release and comfortable. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The combination of beige from every hue gives a warm yet minimal modern accent to the interiors. The wooden furniture, the light natural stone wall with steel trims and green plants fill the entire mansion a sense of light and unadorned atmosphere. Each bedroom within the mansion is assigned with different character design. The master bedroom is paved with wood veneer. The grey mirrors not only increase the visual spaciousness of the entire room, they also reflect the exterior greenery, producing a warm yet soothing resting space. On the second floor, timber slat wall blocks the view when entering the master bedroom enhances the level of privacy. In terms of functional division, designer boldly created a curved hidden store room on the way to the bedrooms on the second floor, adding a bespoke design to the mansion. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design encourages people to interact with each other from different areas, therefore, apart from living and dining area, there creates a family room on first floor. Walking up the glass handled stairs, lounge area with growing natural light is paved with wood flooring, making the space warm and cozy. Besides, the full height wooden stripes partition in the staircase area and the living room standing right through from the ground to the top expressing the connection in between different area of the house. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The light-colored wood is the core material in the design which applied almost everywhere in the house. The space also matches with dark colored furniture and some green plants embellishment, giving the whole unit a natural and warm atmosphere. In pursuit of high quality living, this unit installed with private lift and home automation system. This system enables homeowner to control lighting, air conditioner and curtain by connecting to the mobile app, enhancing the efficiency of energy saving. Apart from the cozy atmosphere, it is vital to remain the feeling of grand that match with the residence image as well. Therefore we used light-colored marble as the floor and wall decoration to highlight the sensation of luxury. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This is a duplex show flat with net size 5057 sq.ft TAGS: Natural, duplex, luxury, cozy, comfortable, glass RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This is a duplex show flat project for One Oasis and which was inspired by the mountain scenery surrounded One Oasis. The designer wants to create a living space where is embraced by a natural and cozy atmosphere. The design and with the supreme functionality and the finest material used for One Oasis show flat help strengthen the premium image that they are positioned, yet, the designs able to satisfy different customers. CHALLENGE: As mentioned above, the color scheme of the project is relatively simple. To avoid to make space looks boring, the earth tone colors from natural to deep brown were used and presented in the rich variety of materials, such as the veneer and the marble feature wall, together with the glass panels and fences which make the apartment warmer and brighter. Furthermore, the steel framed feature panel and the staircase both applied the material use of glass, coordinated with the large windows surrounded the house created the sense of translucency.
