DESIGN NAME: KaiMon Taiwan Tea House
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Spring Tea Gift Box
INSPIRATION: We wish to let the client have a warm nest feeling as "KaiMon", which means "open a door" in Chinese.Taiwan is the birthplace of deluxe tea. Our products are made of high quality tea from different natural environments in Taiwan. Due to the different terrains and climates, the tastes of different tea are full of different features of their own. After brewing, their flavor and taste will be more outstanding and make you feel impressive.We use the colors and the textures of the box to present the blessing of spring, and the gratitude to the forest and tea plants.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The outer layer of the box, we use the Chinese ink and wash rendering to present the passion to the mountain, and use the geometric shapes to present the toughness of the mountain; We use the soft color to present the colors and warm Spring. We also utilize the multiple features of shapes and textures to present the beauty of nature and the memory of the hometown.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Boxes can be flexible used for tea or different tea cake. Rounded paper design for boxes reduce printing process and keep eco -friendly.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2016 in Taipei and finished in August 2016 in Taipei.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The idea of the inner box is from the natural features, including spring wind, dew and sunlight. There are three small boxes inside for different tea and tea cakes, and the client can utilize and arrange them according to their needs.The inner box is drawer box, which decreases printing and the cost, and it echoed the concept of environmental protection.

I am absolutely in awe of this work. The combination of Chinese ink and wash rendering and geometric shapes creates an incredibly striking visual effect. The choice of soft colors to evoke the warmth of Spring is masterful. I find myself entranced by the creative use of shapes and textures to capture the beauty of nature and the nostalgia of home.
