| DESIGN NAME: Stroll the Sunshine PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: Maintain the boundaries of interior, through the transparency, virtual of semi-penetrating to emphasize the relationship between function and area. The same gradient design tactic of shrink and put, behaves the turning process of natural elements such as sunshine, air and water from hustle bustle to serenity. The wide space let dwellers fell harmonious. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Each floor of the building has curved glass crenelated parapet wall design, three of the wall face on sunlight which brings in abundant sunlight. The designer team is thoughtful about the issue of natural environment and traditional culture, they think design shouldn’t just exist right now, but have to last long, and this also respond to architectural essence. Design team adjusts the area, linear and functional of interior space base on dweller’s inquiry during pre-sale. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Because the building is face on sunlight, design team has to consider about the west sunshine problem, at the same time maintain the advantage of building. By the design concept of island below sunlight, the whole space had been planned into shrink and put relationship. All of the space was designed according to demand. The public space such as living room, dining room and kitchen are opened-area, diffusion linear let three spaces full of circulation of liquidity, and become a space let family members communicate with each other, which also make dweller enjoying the nature and leisure environment. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The public areas are mostly face on sunlight, therefore all of the materials and lights are environment protection and energy saving. The walls are mainly veneer, assist with iron, which is delicate and rugged, the contrast of both materials are strong but against each other, restoring the warmth of home life. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The interior space is about 214m2. Through the scale of entrance reduce the wideness of living room, gradually open the brightness of vision, and then the corridor hidden the opened-relationship. Design team put living room, dining room and kitchen on the same axis, make use of the slide door to define relationship between opened or private space. Owner himself needs a big storage space for keeping books, however hoping not to affect the harmonious between interior spaces. Therefore, designers make perfect combination between aesthetics and functional, using conceal delicate method to integrate different materials. TAGS: harmonious, sunlight, spacious, delicate, rugged, warmth RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Backtracking to the design source, design team adjusts the area, linear and functional of interior space base on dweller’s inquiry during pre-sale. First of all, design team abandon close walls during division of public area because three sides of the building are facing sunlight. The continuous windows lead in sunlight, entrance as a premonition of emotion, which create imagination and giving surprise. The usage of natural materials make residents visually harmonious, at the same time echoing building in the city can also feel intimate relationship with nature. Nature of life and environment symbiotic can be felt through simple and clean design, accumulating rich harvest of emotion. The whole design focuses on concept of the relationship between different spaces, interior design and environment. Through continuous window design, view of city and life scenes can talk to each other, trying to build a non-binding field relationship, which reflect the shadow will change day and night, and also aware about existence and stay of time. CHALLENGE: The materials echo with each other, the spirit of freedom could be self-conscious. The connection between open areas are continuous and relish, you can feel the intimate, mutual attitude and unguarded imagination between space and emotional. The advantages of three side lead in abundant sunlight maintain the same, but appropriately solving the problem of west sun.
