DESIGN NAME: Marka Park
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Footwear Commercial
INSPIRATION: We created an abstract world which projects a transport system between Markapark stores and globally popular design studios in order to underline the fact that Markapark brings the latest trends faster than any of its rivals. In this abstract world we combined colorful environments with hyper-realistic objects and thus created a unique identity.
Even if we ended up with a different style we were inspired by the Charlie’s Chocolate Factory movie which also combines reality with an abstract world
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Marka Park is a well known footwear retail store in Turkey. Markapark is mostly famous about bringing the new trends before any other footwear stores. The animation displays the journey of latest shoes from the studios they’ve been designed/manufactured to a Markapark store. We emphasized the rapidness of this delivery and symbolized it with a secret pipeline which transports the shoes between the greatest design studios and Markapark stores.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Marka Park project started in May 2017 and delivered the project in June 2017 in Istanbul.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: %100 CGI animation. All elements were modelled by measuring its originals in 3D Max. Textures made with Adobe Photoshop. 3D Scenes, Lighting, Animation made with Maxon Cinema 4D. For the final compositing Adobe After Effects were used.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Sales reports were examined to filter the most appealing shoes
Color palette were created based on the colors of the shoes.
The animation aired on theatres in specific malls which Markapark stores are located too. The store visitors were subjected to a questionairre to measure theeffectiveness of the movie.
CHALLENGE: The main objective was to support our motto ' First in Markapark ' in a convincing and entertaining way. The world of Markapark had to be colorful, highly energetic. But the main figures of the animation were the shoes and they had to be real to convince the audiance. Combining all these in harmony was the main challange. Different world items were integrated seamlessly.
