| DESIGN NAME: XUPIN PRIMARY FUNCTION: Main meeting hall INSPIRATION: I have seen many meeting halls and most style of them are strict business formality. So I want to create an unique meeting space, which is full of Chinese traditional cultural. I hope that every people can feel the sense of nature and culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Chinese elements were incorporated into the space of the meeting hall , which is distinguished but gentle. It is a quiet Jiangnan ink painting when there is no one here. However when people are crowding around here, it is a dynamic theater, performing different stories . OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main idea of this case came up at the first eye when I see the office building. The building ,surrounding with big lawn, is a small building located in a beautiful Industrial Park . Its outer wall is made up with red brick which make it different from other office building. So I determine to decorate it in the style of natural beauty. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2016 and finished in December 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The material used in this design is very simple, some of which is recovery and utilization. The main material are old board, black floor tile， black metal mesh, etc. The whole design is aim to create beautiful scenery of Jiangnan. So the first thing when I finished my design is looking for those second-hand material. Another big project is doing preservation process and anticorrosive treatment to the material.
