| DESIGN NAME: Proxima B PRIMARY FUNCTION: Artwork INSPIRATION: I have never felt any connection with the stereotypes of alien life seen in almost every comic and film ever made. Being the universe so vast, I felt the need to explore a very different, abstract concept of extraterrestrial life. I tried to create something never seen before while keeping it beautiful and balanced. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Proxima B is a series of 3D generated illustrations aimed to represent a transcendental and alternative idea of extraterrestrial life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project done from June to August, 2017 in Canary Islands, Spain. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Computer Graphics, 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The software used during the creation of these 3D illustrations were Zbrush for the sculpting process, Octane for rendering and Photoshop for details and retouching.
