| DESIGN NAME: Wallful PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wall poster INSPIRATION: Always complaining about invariable interior? Or your kids keep doodling on the wall? This design aims to tackle difficulties in re-painting walls. It uses modern technology to help renovate and provide personalized interior schemes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is an intelligent wall poster design, which can be controlled by an APP on any smartphone to change wall color and automatically adjust brightness. It also allows doodling and writing on the wall. Doodle and writing can be erased and saved. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Consumers could choose different sizes of product according to wall areas. Remove a sheet of protective film and then attach the product onto walls. Scan the QR code to download Wallful APP for all functions. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The outermost layer is tempered glass. It contains a capacitive touch screen and an OLED display screen. The capacitive touch screen provides means to doodle and write on the wall. And the OLED display makes it possible to change the color and brightness. There is a layer of gum at the back, which attaches the product onto the wall after removing a sheet of protective film. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The product include three sizes：600mm×600mm TAGS: Intelligent home furnishing, Environmental friendly, Humanized,Children friendly,Modularized RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Visiting Huang family in shanghai and we interviewed them about furnishing and renovating their home.Reading about current technology and products which could achieve this design.This research provides possibilities to personalize wall designs for individuals, and reduce limitation of wall designing. CHALLENGE: Our intention is to provide a design that achieves to change interior design on a smart phone. Therefore, to start off, we analyzed and compared characteristic functions between this design and electronic screens on market. We differentiate our product by its color and brightness adjusting function; and doodle, and relating functions (saving and erasing).
