| DESIGN NAME: Lu Neng Mansion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Club House INSPIRATION: The design concept of the residential Clubhouse was inspired by Art Gallery. This design seeks to create an intimate experience, the unique and special artworks in this space allows visitors to broad overlooks. In short, this place is a vibrant space visible to passersby, creating a visual connection between the Entertainment and the Art Gallery. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Both the function division of the space and the artistic decorations reveal deconstruction, segmentation and recombination in the process of design. The external view of the building is designed with the elements of Sail and the surface of the architecture is undulated which means a forward of freedom and passion. In the internal design, the designers to introduce the contemporary art design concept to bring an artistic experience in this relaxing space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Each floor is surfaced with modern lines and artistic decorations, all the spaces are designed to be well lighted to link all floors with natural light in daytime and night-time as well as ensure the completeness of the space. The six horizontal and vertical walls together add to the space a vivid sense of three dimension; and the various artistic decorations everywhere vitalize the space. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the atrium there is a large artworks which was made by the aluminum sheet with the a gingko leaf shape. It leaves dancing and smoothly in the air as an ideal connection between the two floors. This space decorated with warm colors and elaborate lighting and furniture, trying to create a comfortable and friendly environment. Designers adopt the color of ginkgo an orange as main colors, with other natural colors as a complement. The carpets are embellished with small hexagons of different shades of colors so as to make the space cozy. The whole space is adorned with simple and fashionable lines as well as modern artistic decorations. The flooring is exquisite and natural, whose natural texture of marble is harmonious with the patterns on the walls. Although the walls are made of logs, their texture which is composed of stereoscopic lines is carefully chosen. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area : 3000 square meters TAGS: Residential Clubhouse , Entertainment, Contemporary Design Concept, Relax RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Aiming to create a comfortable and give warmth to the interior, designers have done lots researches in the choices of colors and decorations . In this design, we looked to incorporate decorative elements such as Art Deco in this space to enhance between each space. At the same time, we believe that soft tone color combinations and comfortable furniture could create an unique quality and atmosphere above just designing a place to visit, which could increase the communication with visitors. CHALLENGE: This special venue has different functions, including reception, meeting room, health club and children’s playground. Designers need to use colors and materials to define the character of each space, and realize the balance between different atmospheres.
