| DESIGN NAME: Lady PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: It was inspired by the femininity and the elegance of women and the moment of female empowerment that we live. The elongated silhouette represents her haughtiness, the seat, her curves and the finishing of the feet with "high heels" in the gold color represent the power of the woman. The lace applied on the back is the feminine and naive touch that every woman has. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the project is to honor the woman with a feminine, minimalist chair with simple lines, elongated silhouette and rich details. With Scandinavian styling, it was designed to bring elegance, sophistication and comfort with its anatomical seat and padded backrest. The metal base is lightweight and sturdy. The design is the most striking part of the chair, which uses simple and effective technology. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Featuring light metal trim, accent base in laminated mdf, seat and back in upholstered foam with rose quartz linen fabric. Feet in galvanized iron with gold paint SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 490 mm x 590 mm x 870 mm TAGS: lady , chair , woman , nordic RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The study was done on the Scandinavian style, in the simplicity of the lines. We were looking for a simple chair, which exemplifies what a woman is. We look for references also in the chairs used in the school, to create that sense of nostalgia. To reflect the woman's curves, we looked for a foam that could have an anatomical shape. NAME: Marau Design Studio PROFILE: It is a Furniture and Interior design studio, very new and fresh, with scandinavian and minimalist inspiration. This staff is only composed by competent womens (designers, architects, moms) and they wanted a very special chair to celebrate this female world movement at this moment. The simplicit and femininity is ther registred brand and can be see in their beautiful jobs. They are part of many importants decoration shows in the south of Brazil. |
