| DESIGN NAME: Weizhu Office PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: Zen, a kind of behavior based on "quiet", is derived from human instinct.The daily work of a designer often requires a quiet office environment.We wanted to create a quiet office for the designers.The design inspiration is based on the idea of Zen,which provides a friendly environmental, and plain office space by harmoniously connecting horizontal and vertical relation as well as materials and quality. The whole space delivers a sense of meditation. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is an office designed for designers.Staff entering the office need to walk through a quiet corridor every day which brings a good atmosphere for them to ponder over.By using natural materials, it creates a pure and plain space. What s more, wood blocks used in the space make people feel warm and comfortable. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Setting up of white partitions not only divides the passageway and work area but also stops the strong sunlight. Being as the key parts connecting work area and green area in office, those white partitions together with other parts depict a picture of liberal style in Chinese traditional painting.
