| DESIGN NAME: K house PRIMARY FUNCTION: Resident INSPIRATION: Inspired from travel.As hosts of k-house love to travel and keep a lots memories from traveling.They like the sunny during traveling lay on the beach and wide space.They want to keep the memories in their new house. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a renovation project of old apartment.Rethinking the traditional layout and compartment. As host like to cook and share with friends,dinning room is in front of living room compaired with other house layout.And no any obvious doors is in this house,all doors are presented as sliced door or hidden door. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By design different plan layout from tradition, to bring the natural light in and more interaction with family. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: he project started in May 2016 and finished in September 2016 in Taipei ,Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Building materials: Aluminum-framed glass door, latex paint, cement-finished wall surface, faux finish paint, laminate floor, natural veneer SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: DIMENSIONS: 13546mm x 9859mm x 285mm Area :92 square meter TAGS: resident renovation , apartment, loft, plant, flexible space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The obstacle is the part of restoring the original garden balcony, while we cant find any drain.So that we thought about another plan instead of original one.
