| DESIGN NAME: Colorfull Home PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the project portrays the life style of the architect herself, after all this project reflects her, it is for her. The choices started by the desing furniture inspired by the works of art and concluded by the choices of colors and textures used in all environments. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The high quality contemporary design of this project begins with the definition of the integrating all social spaces of this apartment of 200m2. From the old floor-plan only the walls of the rooms were preserved, the others were demolished to gain space and unite the environments. The intense use of colors makes this project very unique. In total more than 40 different colors were used for floors, walls, doors and furniture. A lot of thought and imagination went into the choice of each piece of furniture which reflects upon the couple's personalities. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The integration between all social environments allows the couple to welcomethe guests or perform day to day tasks together. While one cooks in the gourmet kitchen area, the other can watch television or even work at the dining room table. One of the foundations of the project was to maintain the space of environments PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in late 2010 in Florianopolis and ended in January 2011. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project began by identifying the structural pillars which were not allowed to be demolished, it were the pillars that set the layout of the living room. Thereafter came the definition and choices of colors. The first and most important was the main entrance door made of red glass, to welcome the arrival of visitors and to emphasize their first impression portrayed by the cheerful tone of the project. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The apartment has 200m2 and with a social area of 100m2. TAGS: Interior, Materials, Colors, Architecture, Natural, Feeling, Home Decor RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The social area is divided into a music room, tv room, dining room, kitchen and an attached intimate room. The principal materials and furniture used in the space are an acoustic ceiling lining built into the plaster ensures the sound isolation of theneighbors in the tv area, the gray cotton sofa is retractable and turns into a large chiasse for watching films etc, which in conjunction with the sound system built into the gypsum ceiling, transforms the room into a private cinema. CHALLENGE: The main challenge of the project was to assist the requirements and to maintain modernistic. Another great challenge was working around a support pillar which supports the concrete slab above the living room, this could no be removed. In the project it became hidden by the television panel which also serves as a partition for the music room. For three consecutive years won a place among the most active professionals from all over Brazil, she was in the top 100 of Kaza Magazine Award 6 times, 10 years in a row received awards for Santa Catarina Center Decoration (NCD) and this year received the top prize.She has participated in several decorating shows and since 2008 has signed more than 15 business contracts. From a jury composed of journalists from the profession and the public, Pipi received two awards for the Best Project for the Room Husband Gourmet, Casa Cor Santa Catarina in 2013, which was visited by over 2000 people.She is constantly on the move, traveling, researching and updating the search for new technologies.This year, she won the International Property Award, American Best Project with Juliana Pippi's Office. The architect maintains her line of work by being distinctly recognized by her high performance and range of capabilities, her creative use of colors and the ability to combine various materials and different textures. Currently Pippi is signing projects in many capitals of Brazil and is increasingly focused on serving foreign investors. |
