INSPIRATION: Why Not a Different Technology or a Different Mechanism Could Be Used for Seating. A New Take Where Seating Is Seen in Different Perspective. A Seating Mechanism Which Is Supported by Air. Inspiration Was From Syringe.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Stool That Gives a Feel of Floating on Air. The Stool Basically Works on Air Compression. When a Person Sits ,the Air in the Cylinder Compress Acting as the Cushion. Hence Giving a New Experience to the User and Also Enhancing the Seating Comfort.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Can Be Easily Lifted by Hand and Could Be Placed Anywhere Over Marble, granite and Other Solid Floors. Can Be Used in Spaces Like Hotel Lobbies Which Will Give an Interesting Experience to the User. Long Lasting as the Usage Stress Is on the Air Unlike Other Materials (Cushion) Which Undergo Tear and Wear After Using It for Number of Times.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Manufacturing Is in Progress.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It Basically Has a Glass Cylinder, Wood and Two Rubber Pieces. One Being a Rubber Ring at the Base of Glass Tube and the Other One Being a Rubber Disc at the Base of the Cylindrical Wood. These Are Fixed for Air Tightness.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A Chair That Is Up in the Air and Not Supported on the Floor. I Was Researching on Factors That Could Be Used for Seating Other Than the Normal Support Like Magnetic Force, Air Compression, Water Movement Etc.
CHALLENGE: He Has Used the Compression of Air as the Cushion Factor for Seating. The Challenge Was to Find the Volume of Air Used for Compression So That the Seat Height Is Comfortable for the User and Make Sure That the User Feet Rests on the Ground After He/she Sits.
