RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Helping people experience long history of cultural legend everyday. The glazed tower, legend of Buddha’s head relic and religion values are all merged into the design of this tea set and it enables people to experience culture while drinking tea with fun of playing calligraphy and burning incense, which bringing customers a fine taste of gracious life.

CHALLENGE:
In the storybook The Garden of Paradise, Hans Christian Andersen writes “I have just come from China, where I danced round the porcelain tower till all the bells jingled again." That porcelain tower in Andersen’s writing is believed to be the Dabao'en Temple of Buddhists in Nanjing today, so the challenge of designing this tea set is how to transform this legend into daily supply.
