| DESIGN NAME: Bal PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Device INSPIRATION: 30 M people are working from home at least once a week. Number is increasing fast. Technological improvements get world closer even we are far away from works we have to do. It is quite easy to get done many jobs from far away from our offices. This situation have many benefits for our world and economies. It reduces consumption and saves time and money. IOT (internet of things) gives us a big opportunity to make jobs from home with a feasible way. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: BAL is a smart home product designed for the homeworkers who need assistance for their works. It regulates homeworkers manner of work, provides new, smart and extraordinary working experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Object operating with simple voice commands, it talks with you. Also connects with your other devices, gives you reports about your projects, your worktime and workflow, It looks a decorational object on the wall while you are not using device. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project has been started in April 2017 in Istanbul and finished in 4 weeks. It has been nominated for the IMMIB Design Awards in May and has been awarded in September 2017. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Simple plastic producing technologies, movement tracking sensors, air sensors, sound sensors, projection parts, OLED screen technologies, wi-fi sensors, IOT SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Modular layers, coming together according to customers need.
