| DESIGN NAME: Magic Box Space PRIMARY FUNCTION: Art Hotel INSPIRATION: Magic box is one of the important props of magician, it can produce a lot of unexpected things.I wish I could have a space, like a magic box, with a variety of changes, just like using magic.When I first saw the Mondrian works, I fell in love with them. In my opinion, those scattered fragments are like magic art, so I want to add this kind of segmentation into space as a magic element and combine with the modern industrial line style. If people live in this space, they can not only feel the magic art, but also experience the comfort of the busy city. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The theme hotel has a living room, bathroom and bedroom.The main style of space is industrial minimalism.The bedroom ceiling and multifunctional cabinet are extracted from the elements of Mondrian works.The whole space is based on gray, and the red, yellow and blue colors make it full of magic.And the Bathroom is also based on the minimalist style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When people enter the theme hotel room, the first feeling will be filled with the window to attract, of course, the source of inspiration is also be Mondrian. And then into the bedroom, this feeling will be more intense.People will use the wardrobe and table made of Mondrian elements. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project has not yet been built, and of course, it may require a huge investment to build.The project was designed in October 2016.It took about a month to get the final results from the research to the final renderings. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Concrete, marble,wooden floors, SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The whole room is 56 square meters，Including the bedroom, living room and bathroom.The whole space is square. TAGS: Theme Hotel,Magic Art,Industrial lines RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When I learned some theme hotels on the Internet and in the physical stores, I found there were few hotels with a theme of modern art. So I would like to design a theme hotel based on modern magic geometric art. It will fill the room with magic elements of geometric art so that people can enjoy both the comfort of the hotel and the atmosphere of modern art. CHALLENGE: People have a deep impression on Mondrian's works, so we should better refine the elements of his works.Of course,Mondrian works are very common, so I need to combine them with the artistic indoor space cleverly.In addition, I hope this magic hotel will make people have a good rest in the busy city.
