| DESIGN NAME: Yaokai Anluan Court and Exhibition Center PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition INSPIRATION: In the process of designing Anluan Court & Exhibition Center, these tags(the core strengths of the project) such as scarce high-end residence, noble humanistic community, spacious houses perfectly combining natural and urban life are needed to convert them into emotional design language so that the audiences are able to perceive in a more natural and graceful way to perceive in the process of experiencing this center. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The reception hall, with height at 9 meters, is am extremely tall and narrow space. Through the full use of natural elements (days, light, water), geometric element dismantling, and the nature of the material show, the space is shaped into an experience space highlighting rich sense of rhyme and rhythm. The use of a large number of grille elements in the reception hall, ending up with creating various ways to introduce light into rooms and compositing the flow of light. No matter you get involved in a dynamic procession, or day and night transforms alternately as it’s static, making people possess more sensitive and diverse feelings in light. With light, the space has a more three-dimensional and vivid expression, also emerged with scale of time. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The entire space gave up excessive decorative elements, but focusing on the nature of materials, intending to concentrate on feeling the building’s space and light. Through landscape settings and control of spatial rhythm, in the process of marching into the space people is able to be accompanied by this sense of rhythm as well, with emotional precipitation and conversion of psychological space.
