| DESIGN NAME: Ergonomic Salon Hair Dryer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Salon Hair Dryer INSPIRATION: Hairdressers use the hairdryer for approximately 4.5 hours a day but that this was not very well adapted. Searching about the problems of hair dryers like loud sounds specially when several hair dryer are working at the same time, they are harmful for ears and also for arms and shoulders, because of their weight, specially for female hairdressers, it is big and heavy. At the end of hairdressers career, 70% of them have wrist and shoulder articulation problems. So, the question arises, How we can solve these problems? UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We have a large space under the salon chair and we can use it to put hair dryer motor there, so we can isolate the hair dryer by putting it there to ignore its sound. We can move the made air to the handle of hair dryer by a pipe which is weatherproof and sound proof, then we decreased the sound. Otherwise by putting out the motor off hair dryer from inside of that, its weight and size are extremely decreased. So this hair dryer is extremely ergonomic and easy to use. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Usage of this hair dryer is exactly like the others. You can turn it ON and OFF using wireless control button on its handle. Also you can change speed of motor and temperature of air using plus [+] and minus [-] buttons. By using two latch in top of the hair dryer's head, you can unlock head and change its angular and put it in different position. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This is similar to the manufacturing method of a general hair dryer. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size and weight of this hair dryer, much less than current salon hair dryers. Its weight can be less than 80 grams and Its size is less that 14cm (Without nozzle).
