Our research pointed that in antiquity the philosopher Plato has associated in his work Timaeus the basic elements of life: earth, water, air, and fire with a class of geometrical shapes. For the base of the fire pit we used the model of the tetrahedron, the shape conected with the fire element in the dialogue of Plato. For the symbols of earth, water and air that appear on the three support elements we were inspired from the images of this symbols as they are represented in The Fifth Element movie. The research was made from internet sources. Finally it is an highly decorative project with a purification and regeneration symbolism.
The project is conceived such so no part requires bending, its entirely thought for jointing plane parts.
