| DESIGN NAME: Fragrance PRIMARY FUNCTION: Turkish Coffee Maker With Grinder INSPIRATION: In Turkish culture coffee is bought as seeds and grinded freshly until it is extra fine for it’s intense aroma spread during the grind process. This aroma takes control of the people around the neighborhood. Without this interaction coffee would lost most of it’s effect on culture. My intention is to spread this culture throughout the World. Due to not everyone has acces to extra fine grinded coffee my device has an internal grinder. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Product’s ‘hourglass’ form is to help feeeding coffee beans down to it’s own grinder. There are 3 diffrent adjustable cooking options. First is cooking time which is to alter Turkish Coffee’s strongness. Second is the granule size which alows user to cook other types of unfiltered coffee other than Turkish Coffee. Third alteration though not effecting the taste is cup count. These options can be stored at will in 3 profiles so that diffrent users won’t have to adjust the coffee everytime. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started as a student project in February 2015 and finished in May 2015 in Istanbul.
