| DESIGN NAME: Dream of Blue PRIMARY FUNCTION: Alchohol INSPIRATION: Dream of Blue,, Handmade Team. It is a type pf liquor designed by our team, "handmade art, originality" is the core value of the product, also is the creative origin of packaging. we designed the product with the spirit of craftsman, UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Outer packaging with wood grain handmade paper, the bottle decorated by the red handicraft-making team. Bottle chose to use champagne gold plating process, and the entire bottle seal sticker made by hand, at the bottom decorated by relief, making the packaging more original. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This brand new packaging design gives people not only more visual relaxation, and also conveys the ideas of modern Chinese esthetics towards Chinese traditional white spirit. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: glass, paper, plastic SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Outer paking:135cm*120cm*3 TAGS: YangHe,Blue of Dream, Baijiu, Handmade Team， RESEARCH ABSTRACT: YangHe is a national well-known white spirit brand in China and its history can chase back almost a thousand years ago. Before designing for this product, we needed to collect all the details about this brand, so as to set up a correct direction to meet the product and the company cultural background: making sure that the design had brand's cultural spirit in it, and yet won't be too modernized as well. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of designing this project was choosing the material of the bottle as well as the external packing. The design team wanted to used glass or plastic at the beginning, but they found it hard to meet their exceptions, for neither one of these materials can bring out the color of the water drop on the bottle. Because what designers knew about the categories of materials was limited, so in the end, we decided to consult factories workers in order to give us more advice.
