| DESIGN NAME: Goodiscs Vinyl Records guesthouse PRIMARY FUNCTION: VIP Guesthouse INSPIRATION: The loving stare at an 22.5° with Lu Xun( Chinese literary giant) Facts of a new masterpiece:waffle surface and the natural cleavage of wood reflecting unmodified shine in the sun. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The interior design is furnished with essential audio-video equipments and soundproof materials as well as precious books for customers to share in this space,and to enjoy wine,coffee and tea here. Among which, the owner Max is so generous as to share his favorite cultural relics by the author Lu Xun, allowing VIPs to find peace surrounded by wooden interior and comfortable sunshine. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To match the quality of sound and the texture of vinyl records, the designer utilized natural wood as theme of this space, instead of engineered wood, to manifest the cleavage and waffle surface corresponding gramophone records. Besides, ceiling-high closets were made of rough pine woods from North America cut and assembled to fit the size for displaying the vast collection of vinyl records.
