| DESIGN NAME: 2GETHER BY THE SEA PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: In order to achieve the bold and stylish design approach, the whole space is filled up with a lot of reflected materials, meanwhile, it was also inspired by the current city life that speeding up people’s pace in their life. When people step into this space, the feature glass with linear pattern gives a person feel like falling into a cyber world, furthermore, the resembled pattern was echoed into the carpet to enhance this kind of atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 2Gether is a sales office with 2 show flats located in 11/F, CWD Building, Tsuen Wan, hong kong, designers aim to create a space that can easily attract people’s attention by the futuristic style. On how to convert a 6,000 square feet office floor into a cyber inspired space, there are 2 clues which are illusion and cosmetics, the design outcome in the sales office should be a huge impact come across people’s experience, and it is surrounded by 2 show flats which gave an translation of the design logic. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In order to achieve the bold and stylish design approach, the whole space is filled up with a lot of reflected materials, meanwhile, it was also inspired by the current city life that speeding up people’s pace in their life. When people step into this space, the feature glass with linear pattern gives a person feel like falling into a cyber world, furthermore, the resembled pattern was echoed into the carpet to enhance this kind of atmosphere. Mirror glass is the most critical material to lead the endless path to the sales hall, which is another reflective space all dressed by high gloss lacquer, the light trough were extended from ceiling to floor, soft but geometric fabric plays the role in the logo wall to balance this bright space to make it still touchable. The most challenging part for this project is to decorate the show flat with the same kind material but also makes people feel homey, we put the right accessories in the right place and the reflection in the mirror properly presented what a modern home should be like.
