DESIGN NAME: Residence 53
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Villa
INSPIRATION: The endeavor is to build timeless architecture that is a reflection of our time yet rooted in our heritage, not also in its visual appeal and materiality but also in its knowledge of elements of nature and response to climate. We aspire to search for that sutra of continuity that could bind our rich and glorious past and the beads of the future. The architecture is conceived as a sculptural composition defined by a few powerful strokes, resulting in simple & bold built forms.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: BRIEF
To design a house that stands with profoundity in its surroundings and almost redefines luxury.
CONCEPT
The attempt was to design a house that was minimalist in character but luxurious in its interiors. The strong geometry and bare walls characterise the overall space and provides the underlying base to be enriched by wooden screens and plush furniture & furnishings.
