| DESIGN NAME: Copper PRIMARY FUNCTION: COPPER whiskey bar & lounge INSPIRATION: Trendy whiskey bar & lounge, is located right in the heart of downtown shopping center at Kunming, China. The owner is a dapper, tasteful, serious whiskey enthusiast who has been collecting diverse whiskey around the world. Correspondingly, COPPER is conceived to capture a gap that was in need of a higher range entertaining hotspot, furthermore, fulfilling the brief of creating a truly new and unique whiskey tasting experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Steel strip lights tunnel inspired by the whisky houses and distillers, long white marble-tabletop bar greets the guests with a bespoke copper chandelier above, VIP stage engross in the center, leather and velvet sofa is specifically designed to create a very classy, masculine and feminine atmosphere. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In order to create an enigmatic and stylish scene, the customer is firstly greeted by the most prominent feature; a cluster of copper steel strip lights tunnel, inspired by the whisky houses and distillers, which guide guests inside the space. A wide long white marble-tabletop bar greets the guests with a bespoke copper chandelier above. Anchored around a spectacular central bar are flanked by three stories high glass window, enfold with different seating areas and a mezzanine VIP stage engross in the center. The bar is dominated with dark grey hues, meanwhile, the cushions feature in a water blue, pine green and tangerine orange colours to add vibrancy while assorted lighting spanning in varied sources and tones lend a dramatic glow to each areas. The leather and velvet sofa is specifically designed to create a very classy, masculine and feminine atmosphere, also helps to divide the lounge and bar areas. Based on the shape of the mezzanine VIP stage, the strips handle laid out in a curve shape to express the movement of pouring whiskey in glass. Across the entire space, the materials palette mixes copper steel with black oak, hinting to the heritage of the whiskey whilst telling the story in a modern way that is worthy as a place for whiskey enthusiast.
