| DESIGN NAME: Gravity Ring PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry INSPIRATION: Falling apple and Newton's discovery about gravity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Stimulating the user to think and paying attention to world around them. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This ring is designed for everyday wear and to encourage the sense of thinking, reasoning and not simply disregarding the events and the world around. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This ring was designed in January 2017 in Tehran/Iran. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Consists of three parts: Main part is Tree ring ,gold ring. Apple and apple ring from white gold with a grade of 18. Embedded rails on the 360 degree . The ring was designed with Matrix jewellery design software. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the ring varies depending on the user's request. The Apple branches are connected together to minimise the sharp edges. TAGS: Golden Ring,Apple, Jewellery, Newton, Gravity, Apple tree, branches, White gold, Rose gold RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We have always tried to design something unique and meaningful. Obviously there are lots of ideas behind each design and this isn't any different. We didn't want this ring to be just a ring, we wanted to design something that attracts attention and make people think about it. CHALLENGE: Gravity ring has been designed based on two approach, conceptual design and hedonistic design.
