Multi Functional Stool And Office Bench
The starting point of this project is the capsular form and also its demountable and changeable features. It has been designed by using circular and elliptical forms. Every piece of this design can change colors and can be used in different combinations. It has been established as a multipurpose and soft formed design. With soft figures, it can be used as stool,shelf, table.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The furniture has been designed as capsular form and contains circles and elliptical lines. The differentiators of this design among the others are the availability of many combinations according to the user’s demand, its space reducing advantage and its classiness. Shelves are constituted by adding stools upwards. When it is used as solo, it functions as seating element or center table.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Easy to divide, can be shaped and used for many stools. Furniture used in social entrances.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Project is designed in August 2016 and started to protype trials. The process is still ongoing.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
As stool production method reshaped and renewable plastics will be used. In wooden parts,sustainable waste wood coating will be used.Same methods apply to bank production,in addition,sponge and felt coating seatings will be used frequently
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Stool dimensions:40cm height, 40cm diameter.Round form encircled with 3cm cham.Oval cut eye in middle height is 32cm.Bank lower case height is 40cm and sponge height is 5cm.Total seating place’s height is 45cm. Ridge height is 70cm and oval form’s width is 15cm.Gap height in the middle is 35cm.

Researches conducted on breathing cycles. Breathing waves of living organisms have been examined via videos and articles.In design process, sketches are prepared and balance points are determined.
The challenge was to finding balance points and deciding on forms’ production material.Due to misconduct in material use in these days,I should use recycled material and make a sustainable design.But due to low endurance level of recycled material,I couldn’t find right materials.Then I decided to use plastics that recycled from waste ones.For wooden parts, likewise the recycled plastics, I have found waste wooden coating idea.
