| DESIGN NAME: D-ear PRIMARY FUNCTION: Comfortale headset INSPIRATION: I like listening to music, and I also am a man who often wear glasses. I always feel uncomfortable when wearing headset to listen to music, so it inspired me to design this headset. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a comfortable headset , whose unique feature is the design for earmuffs.It hasn’t a sense of pressure between earmuffs and frames , when you use it . And use memory foam to prevent the leaky. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As long as you wear like regular headset. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Started July 2016 and finished January 2017 at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: "Dear headset" is designed for people who wears glasses. The headset sheath is designed to avoid the contact with spectacle frames, which effectively relieves the ear discomfort caused by traditional headset pressing spectacle frames to ears. Furthermore, the Ultra-Soft Reversible Memory foam inlaid can cling to the ear comfortably, avoiding sound leakage, which brings people a better experience. NAME: University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute PROFILE: Formerly named Sun Wen Institute, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China ‘UESTC’ Zhongshan Institute, was set up in October 1986 with the approval of the State Education Commission of China. In October 2002, the present incarnation of Zhongshan Institute was established, operated by a cooperative management system from UESTC and Zhongshan Municipal Government. Although falling under the direct jurisdiction of the State Education Commission of China, this co-created institute also enjoys the director-level membership of the NationalAssociation of Independent Institutes. |
