| DESIGN NAME: The Track PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Exhibition Interior INSPIRATION: The site is located in Peidou County, where is surrounded by factories, we wanted to insert a relaxed and concentrating working space, and wanted to have a space is not factory like. Therefore we were inspired by the track and the greens and wood. The track is to work like everytime you are in a race, the green and wood is to working together and grow strong like what the client wishes their firm to be. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The client is a sport factory factory and wanted us to design an office that they can show their clients about their manufacture of fabric and a spirit of their firm. As thought of sport we came up with a track idea that the track can work as a flow of direction and having a concept of work like you are in a race every time. The site is separated by the track and the manufacturing machine display with a visiting root and a working space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is a combination of exhibit manufacture machines and office, the sport track leads people going different directions, therefore a distinct color has been chosen. On the side of the track has what the client what to express to the people who visit there. The glass panels separates the areas and leaving each area with good acoustic and expend the view. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: As its a fabric factory, the use of LED light inside the display shelve to create a lighting shade that weave like fabric. The light wall could also used as storage and display shelve, as the design could be used not only for single purpose. A great amount use of glasses in the site is to enlarge the space from different spaces.
