A device was needed that could address the functional needs for retail, transport and logistics, field service, warehouse and healthcare whilst being adaptable to fully address market specific use cases. An elegant design was needed that could be used for customer interactions, whilst a rugged solution was required to withstand the day to day use or enterprise.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The rugged device has a 5” touch display and an elegant design for customer facing use cases. The most difficult challenge was creating a device that addressed all the common design requirements for the different markets, whilst allowing the flexibility to be tailored to meet the conflicting requirements. This design challenge was overcome by making the device as elegant as possible, and shifting the accessory attachment and extra ruggedness requirements to the exoskeleton.
