| DESIGN NAME: Escher PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kitchen flipper INSPIRATION: Function: Iranian cooking style in frying was main inspiration for me to design this device. Most of the time the result of flipping frying foods is not acceptable for women and they crushed during that process. and they use at least 2 pieces (1 flipper and 1 spoon) for better result and also in more convenient way. Form: Escher painting was my inspiration in form development. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This flipper is not only encourages user to use it (because of its form) but it also provides an opportunity to use it for both right and left handed.In addition, with its flexible function user experiences easy way of flipping and also its heat indicator which is located at the top of the handle as a changeable light, user can use smart product in daily life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Ergonomic form of handle provides suitable function for both right and left handed.Furthermore during cooking process user can use this flipper with satisfaction. This means that when user put it on the pan and go for a while the light become red and alarm the user that, it is hot and say not to use it! On the other hand when the light become green,it is the time for safe use. In addition, your frying food will be served fine and without cracked pieces because its function. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2015 in Iran and finished in October 2015 in Iran . |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: inject molding or casting. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: product dimension: 65.20.2.5 It depends on production process and material.Stainless steel is considered as a default material but there is a possibility for injection molding too with some heat-resistance polymer. TAGS: Escher,Flipper,kitch RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The problem was simple :frying food is not as easy as we think and users find many difficulties during flipping because the want to serve their food aesthetically and as result of fragile ingredient most of the time they need more that one device for flipping.
