| DESIGN NAME: Light Shower - Frame View PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: This project is a 30 year old residence near the Linko International Golf & Country Club built by the owner, and is a native Linko residence. The original building could have excellent lighting and view. Unfortunately, when the building was constructed, the geographical conditions and advantages were not considered. Today, the owners of the residence are grown and have formed their own families, and the elders in the family are getting old. Without an elevator, the original condo design is inconvenient for the elder people in the family. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this comprehensive renovation project, our team first must solve the problem of movement lines, insufficient lighting, and insufficient living space for three generations of people living in the residence. In addition to applying for and designing an elevator to solve the mobility problem of the elders, the original roundabout movement is also reorganized. A long hallway passes through the entire space, and a window is added to the wall of each space to introduce more natural lighting and ventilation. Thus, light can enter the residence, the air is ventilated, and each space has a view. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The material and style of the design is based on saving cost. A mix of exotic materials is carefully matched with inexpensive construction materials. This also reflected the restrained and simple nature of the owner. The redesigned house not only fulfilled the expectations of the elders towards their renovated home, but also gave younger residents a fashionable design to their own individual residences, which will last them another 30 years. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 214.5 square meters TAGS: Residence RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Three generation of family members live in the residence, and each floor of the building houses an individual family. Family members generally will gather in the first floor restaurant to have meals. Thus, the owner wishes to have an open style kitchen and dining space in the three main residence floors, which has always been a dream of the mistress of the house. That way, sunlight can shine on the living room and open kitchen, allowing residents to enjoy the lazy afternoon sun and happy times together.
