| DESIGN NAME: T-Hide PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sun awning INSPIRATION: T-Hide philosophy is simple and reflects the strategic vision of the company: innovation of production processes, maximum performance and essential style that can fit into any architectural context. T-Hide would not be only a sun protection but a design element for outdoor, that offer more benefits than other awnings in the actual market: it has a special water dreinage sistem, for a further protection, a front valance for a more privacy, and led lights for using it by night. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: T–Hide is the awning with a protective cassette offering increased performance. It can be extended up to 700 cm in width and 400 cm in depth and can be fitted with a concealed front valance, which can be operated by remote control, for added protection from the sun.T–Hide can be completed with a system of built-in LED spotlights with a dimmer, to create atmospheric lighting underneath it in the evening. All the functions can be managed by an efficient smartphone application. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: T-Hide is provided with a special arm tensioning system with motorized movement and operable with more channel remote controls. Great news also in home automation with the innovative Connexoon system to start operation via a dedicated app, from the convenience of your Smartphone. T–Hide can be completed with a system of built-in LED spotlights with a dimmer, to create atmospheric lighting underneath it in the evening. All the functions can be managed by remote control or by an efficient smartphone application. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: T-Hide project started in January 2016 and finished in september 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: T-Hide is made in an innovative aluminum alloy and consist of 120 elements and 19 extruded items, obtained with new and innovative mold assembly techniques. Every single functional element ( motor for example) is hidden in the box. Screws are all in stainless steel. Other elements are in quality nylon.Arm stretch system with belt.Pre assembly of electrical parts (wiring, watertight boxes, and electronic control units). SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Maximum size: 700 cm width x 400 cm depth. Box dimensions: 38 x 18 cm. TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Pratic is ever looking for practical solution, joining maximum functionality and design. T-Hide is a unique project in which all functional elements are hidden in the mechanical parts. T-Hide has been designed to be easy mounted. CHALLENGE: Tha hardest part was find a way to hide every element inside the box for a better out design and make it easy to use and to mount.
