DESIGN NAME: Jobs
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Display Cabinet
INSPIRATION: Jobs showcase removes barriers and provides new experiences for operators and customers. It gets rid of every non essential element and allows more comfort and efficiency. It challenges the status quo because it is innovative in its construction and concept. It will fit anywhere. It is the showcase that can display any type of food product, allowing for quality preservation, visibility, and total control of performance. It talks to different world in the same language: flexibility.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jobs display cabinet allows you to see things from another point of view. It has a strong character but it also is a very discrete object. It can easily be placed on a work bench, just like a tray for dishes. Jobs is the first showcase in the world without stand: in a few centimeters in height are condensed all of today s shop windows functions. Jobs allows you to fully express the design of a room, all that is superfluous is deleted: footings, engines and hooves.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: For the first time as a TV remote, with Upper you can guide and control Jobs. With Upper you always have the remote control on Jobs. Switch on your tablet and go: four simple steps and an easy graphic interface.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Jobs project took over a year to be developed. It started early 2015 in Orion company factory (Jesi, Ancona, Italy) and was presented in January 2016 at SIGEP fair (Rimini, Italy).

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Jobs cabinet uses components that allows to reduce dimensions of the technological systems such as low thickness advanced materials. Ventilation technology is the section that represented the highest challenge and benefit of an high grade research to limit needed amount of space.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: There is only one measure to consider: 16 cm, the height of the aesthetic frame holding the Jobs technology. Here you are on the work top. Then, you can place the showcase in any height you will want to work and exhibit. Another dimension never seen before, it is the overall Jobs’ depth. In 90 cm, you can put the 36 cm two row ice cream tubs or pastry professional trays, for a maximum capacity of 70 cm depth. The version with the set of glasses of 40 cm can be equipped with an intermediate shelf to increase the exposure capacity.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: Main challenge in developing Jobs was to reduce dimensions and leave display capacity unchanged. Keeping the same exhibition measurement, we were able to reduce the overall dimensions. Then everything is more comfortable, as for those who work, as for the customer, increasingly closer to the operator. Jobs avoided superstructures to set you free to express the best design for your spaces. A showcase of high performances and high display capacity, all with high fidelity of the Orion brand.
