Upholstered Acoustic Panels
We were succesful in winning this project at tender stage.
From there we had several discussions with the Builder, Architect and the Client (University of Melbourne). Through these discussions and prototype samples we were able to reach a satisfactory outcome and product that was asthetically pleasing and functional.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Our brief was to supply and install a multitude of Fabric wrapped Acoustic panels with various sizes, angles and shapes. Initial prototypes saw changes in both the design and the physical means of installing and suspending these panels from the walls, ceilings and the underside of the staircases. It was at this point we realised that the current proprietary hanging systems for ceiling panels were not adequate for our needs and we designed our own.
