| DESIGN NAME: The Revolving Axis in White Space PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Emphasize the axis in the space to create the spatial stability. Embed rotatable spatial elements to generate integrity and territory sense. Set white linear elements as the basic tone of the space so that the sunshine interpret space beauty. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The integration of the Nordic style and the modern luxury style. The public spaces can vary be adjusted based on the type of activity. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The 8 pieces of specific angled mirror stainless steel arches must be precisely jointed without any deviation, both with each other and the ceiling. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Glass Mirror stainless steel Black iron White mrble Black mirror SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 210 sqm TAGS: InteriorDesign, Interior, Design, space, Space-eight, Taiwan, TW, house, residential, residence, home, style RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The afternoon sunshine spreads inside the house through the windows, warmness penetrating this white space, which brings shadows and lights on the white bookshelf wall segmented in lines. All of these is make reading become a wonderful musical performance of entertainment. Space Structure Two axises between the two stone frames and the white electric fireplace wall seems to form the life activities, expanding its virtual line over the way from the living room -TV set,and the kitchen area - dining table- the studio area. Black Partition Axis opend when party time While the black partitions is opened, it makes the whole place as if connected with each other from the kitchen, dining area to the studio. All the spaces are merged into one which offers spacious gathering place for holding parties with friends and guests who can walk around leisurely without pressure. Black Partition Axis closed when reading time It offers quiet, cozy, and private reading area of the studio while the partition closes. Metal Dome Ceiling The metal dome ceiling formed with mirror finished stainless steel is against the black round table on the ground while the reflection of crystal chandelier spreads its lights on the table revealing modern luxury atmosphere. Merge The white structure frame above the bed clearly distinguishes the bed area, the makeup table area, and the living area in the master room, which offers wonderful layers in space. CHALLENGE: The male owner of the project likes the Nordic style, and the female one likes the modern luxury style.
